Testing workshops

A variety of testing workshops are available which are sponsored locally by independent contractors. These workshops are not associated with Midland Public Schools, though information may be obtained from your high school counselor.

Preparation materials

ACT and SAT test preparation books, including practice tests and CDs may be checked-out free of charge from the Career Centers of both H.H. Dow and Midland High Schools. Supplies are limited.

ACT and SAT preparation materials and services are also available directly from the company; some are free, some are available for purchase. For more information go to ACT Test Prep site; or go to the College Board’s SAT Practice Center.

Khan Academy and LearningExpressLibrary.com are two websites offering free online practice tests.

Learning Express Library offers free test preparation materials online for Midland Public Schools students.

Many practice exams are available in dozens of categories. The ACT, SAT, PSAT/NMSQT, AP, TOEFL iBT and IELTS practice tests and tutorials are available. WorkKeys test prep is located in the category “Career Exploration”. LearningExpress Library provides a completely interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial course series designed to help students and adult learners succeed on the academic or licensing tests they must pass. You'll get immediate scoring, complete answer explanations, and an individualized analysis of your results.
